The Křižík Fountain

The Křižík Fountain, which was built in 1891, is a generally admired monument and without exaggeration a European unique.

To the visitor it offers an unrepeatable artistic experience from beautiful music accompanied by an aquatic dance with colour light effects.

This splendid water monument, the dominant of the Exhibition Ground, has already won many admirers.

In the projects which are being prepared for the fountain we shall see musicals, Jarre's "The Beauty and the Beast" and a new project called "Opera on the Fountain" in collaboration with the singers of the National Theatre with a cycle of arias from the most famous operas and the juvenile musical The Water Nymph.

The evening or night performances of the Krizik Fountain in which are alternately heard the compositions of B.Smetana, A.Dvorak, W.A.Mozart, Mike Oldfield and other composers, create an unrepeatable atmosphere and an experience which is worth to visit.
